Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of Flying Fish UK Ltd, including:

  • Contractors and agency workers
  • Business partners and suppliers
  • Any third party associated with our operations

Identifying and Preventing Modern Slavery

To mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our business, we commit to:

  • Supplier Due Diligence
  • Conducting risk assessments of suppliers and third-party partners.
  • Requiring all suppliers to comply with UK labour laws, human rights standards, and anti-slavery regulations.
  • Reviewing supplier contracts to include anti-slavery clauses.
  • Employee Awareness & Training
  • Providing awareness training on modern slavery risks for relevant staff.
  • Encouraging employees to be vigilant and report any signs of forced labour or exploitation.

Whistleblowing and Reporting

  • Maintaining a confidential whistleblowing policy for reporting concerns.
  • Investigating all reports promptly and taking appropriate action.

Responsibilities

Directors are responsible for ensuring this policy is implemented effectively, including risk assessments, due diligence, and training supplier monitoring.

Employee Responsibilities

All employees must:

  • Be aware of and comply with this policy.
  • Report any suspected cases of modern slavery or unethical labour practices.
  • Complete relevant training as required.

Supplier Responsibilities

Suppliers must agree to comply with this policy and UK modern slavery laws. Allow audits and reviews to ensure compliance.

Reporting 

Staff and suppliers are encouraged to report any suspicions of modern slavery or unethical labour practices to a Company Director.

All concerns will be taken seriously, investigated thoroughly, and addressed in line with our legal obligations.

Monitoring and Review

  • This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains effective.

We will update procedures as necessary to reflect changes in legislation and best practices.
