During your course with us, you’ll stay in one of our charming houses in Cowes, shared with your fellow Yachtmaster course mates. You’ll have your own private bedroom, offering a perfect blend of social and personal space.
This beautifully restored Victorian townhouse is located just five minutes from the high street and our training centre, it’s the ideal spot to immerse yourself into what Cowes has to offer.
The Yachtmaster House is fully self-catering, complete with high-quality furnishings, cosy bedding, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. With well-equipped kitchens and thought-out living areas, it’s easy to unwind after a productive day of training on the water.
We understand that every student we welcome is at a unique stage in their career and life journey. As a professional who is likely accustomed to a certain standard of living, we’ve tailored our Yachtmaster House to ensure you have your own private bedroom, offering the comfort and personal space you value.
A quiet retreat where you can rest, recharge, or focus on your Yachtmaster course. Having your own space ensures you’ll feel refreshed and ready for the next step in your training.
Our Yachtmaster House is thoughtfully equipped to ensure a comfortable stay.
Not included: We do not provide towels or toiletries, so please bring your own.
We know that a restful night’s sleep is essential for your learning experience with us. That’s why we’ve equipped our accommodation with high-quality mattresses and added thoughtful details like suitcase holders and ample hanging space in each bedroom.
Whilst this house has a mix of single and double rooms, we ensure you’ll have your private bedroom to provide you with the comfort and personal space needed to relax, recharge, and focus during your Yachtmaster training.
The Yachtmaster House is located in central Cowes, just a short five-minute walk from our training centre. Our base in Cowes Yacht Haven is right in the heart of town, offering unparalleled access to the Solent.
Cowes, situated on the picturesque Isle of Wight, is a world-renowned sailing destination with a rich maritime history. Its vibrant sailing culture and annual regattas attract sailors from across the globe, making it the perfect location to embark on your training journey.
Please note that parking is limited in Cowes. We advise against bringing a car as the accommodation, our training centre, shops, and bars are all within a 5-minute walk of each other.
Most customers travel by train or plane to Southampton, then hop on the Red Jet to West Cowes. Parking is available in Southampton at the Triangle car park, close to Red Funnel’s Red Jet.
The Yachtmaster training courses run seven days a week. During the evenings you may like to eat at one of the many restaurants in Cowes or relax in the accommodation.
If you are looking to head out, then we recommend the famous Coast bar or try Harbour Kitchen, all located on Cowes High Street. There are many pubs along the High Street, including The Anchor and The Globe, both student favourites. The Globe has a rooftop terrace for you to watch the boats out on the Solent as you sip your cocktail.
If you like to keep fit, there is a local Gym, Inshape, a 15-minute walk from the accommodation which many of our customers use to unwind.
During the summer, you could hire a stand-up paddle board and take to the water or mountain bike to explore Cowes and the surrounding areas.
